About Me

I’m a recent graduate from the Department of Education, Culture, and Society at the University of Utah. I’m passionate about pursuing equity in elementary education and teacher education through the rejection of school punishment and the use of abolitionist teaching. I specialize in the school/prison nexus and abolitionism, critical whiteness and Black male studies, early childhood education, and critical multicultural teacher education.
